DODGEBALL: For more information "Click Here" Yes that's right DODGEBALL is now at the All American Sports Academy! With four different age groups, our goal is to make the leagues not only fun but competitive. The lower youth age groups will have the option to move up and play against the older groups if they are up to the competition. Here is the plan: We are forming a local competitive Dodgeball league for all ages. The plan is to start with U-10,U-14, Adult leagues. As long as we get 2 teams per age group we are good to go. This will enable each of the divisions to have a 5 week season. The first four weeks will be round robin against your bracket and then the 5th week will be a playoff week. DATES AND SCHEDULES: Dates: November 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th (Pool Play) Championship games will be December 2nd. Price is $45.00 for all five weeks and each player will get a t-shirt and trophies for the first place team. (Please note: If we get sign ups where we can have additional teams then we will just schedule those teams earlier in the day. But all teams will get the 5 full weeks of play with games each week. Sunday will be the day for the games. We will plan on starting around 12:00 noon. U-10 ------ 6:00 PM U-14 ------ 7:00 Adult ------ 8:00 (Combination of 15 year old's thru adult. AGE DIVISION: We want this to be a fun and yet competitive league. We do not want to have a strict age rule. Our age rule is very simple, your age for the brackets will be determined by the previous December 31st. In other words, what ever your age is on December 31st of 2006 is the age for the year. If you we 14 on January 2nd, 2007 then you will be a 13 year old for the year of 2007. If you choose to play up in a different division because you have other friends or family playing, then that is fine. You are also able to play on different teams if you would like, (separate fee is due for each team you play on). RULES for our league: The rules for the league are actually quite simple as we mentioned before our goal is to have fun while providing an opportunity for some good competition.
